PRODUCT NEWS . . . ASICS GT-2000 v2

Asics is so confident in the fit, feel and ride of the new GT-2000 v2 you can try it risk free!  If the shoes don’t deliver the ultimate ride, Asics/Bandanna will replace them, no questions asked!

NEW TECH IN THE GT-2000 v2:

FluidRide:

ASICS midsole technology that provides the ultimate combination of bounce back and cushioning while reducing weight and maintaining exceptional durability.

Reinforced Vamp

The forefoot mesh durability has been increased by the addition of a thin, seamless underlay.  No more of your big toe poking a hole in the mesh!

Full-Length SpEVA 55 Lasting:

A thin layer of foam (now full-length!)  under the insole for superior cushioning and comfort.  This has been a key feature that provides the ride runners have come to expect from the GT series.

More Accommodating Fit & Feel:

The re-tooling of the upper and the addition of the SpEVA 55 lasting creates a fit similar to the GT-2170 while still pushing the GT-2000 v2 beyond its predecessors.

TIP(S)/ADVICE . . . BE SAFE . . . BE SEEN!

With days getting darker and safety always a concern, you may not want to rely exclusively on the reflective hits on your clothes to warn oncoming motorists/wildlife/law enforcement of your approach.  Remember, the reflective areas of your shoes and/or clothes only really show/glow when you are in the direct path of an automobile’s headlights.  A bright headlamp or a clip on light will go a long way toward ensuring your visability, and therefore, your safety.

KNUCKLE LIGHTS do a great job of providing an added measure of safety.  They are available at BANDANNA.  They have three different power settings for maximum adaptability/usability.  $40.00 . . . but it truly is hard to put a value on safety.  We also have several headlamp options and, of course, lots of reflective gear and we’re working on the reflective bandanna!

GREAT STUFF REVIEW . . .

NINETY PERCENT OF EVERYTHING

INSIDE SHIPPING,
THE INVISIBLE INDUSTRY THAT PUTS CLOTHES ON YOUR BACK, GAS IN YOUR CAR, AND FOOD ON YOUR PLATE

Have you ever wondered how your running shoes got to the United Statesfrom that factory in Asia?  How did those bananas (not bandannas) get to Albertson’s from a South or Central American plantation?

Ninety Percent of Everything recounts Author Rose George’s five week, nine thousand mile journey on the container ship Maersk Kendal.  This is an unbelievably interesting book about an industry that most of us know nothing about but that plays such a vital part in our daily lives.  “The best books make you think about our world in a new way and

Ninety Percent of Everything is definitely one of those books.” Deborah Blum
