YMCA Famous Idaho Potato Marathon & Fun Runs are back for the 45th year!
All courses are flat and fast for this fun full, half, 10K & 5K run on the Boise Greenbelt. Here are some Fast Facts about the Famous Idaho Potato that might answer race day questions.

Packet Pick Up: Friday, May 12, 3:00-7:00 pm for all distances!
Come pick up your packet and t-shirt, and visit with vendors before race day to ensure you have all the last-minute race day items. Avoid the lines on race day and pick up your packet on Friday. Albertson’s HQ (250 E Parkcenter Blvd, Boise). We highly recommend picking it up on Friday, May 12.
- Half & Full Marathoners – Sat, May 13, 5-6:30 am at Albertson’s HQ in the bus loading area.
No bibs will be given at the half and full Marathon start. You must pick up your bib at Albertson’s HQ before coming to the start. - 5K & 10K – Sat, May 13, 8:30 am-10:00 am at Albertson’s HQ
Start Times & Locations:
Full and Half Marathon – 7 am at Lucky Peak State Park/Sandy Point
5K/10K – 10 am at Albertsons Headquarters
Parking:
Parking is available at Albertsons Headquarters in both the east and west lots of the building. The west will be closed before the 5K & 10K start and will have limited access as finishers enter the area. We recommend that full and half marathoners park in the west lot and 5K & 10K runners park in the east lot. There is NO parking on the street or the BSU Yanke lot.
“Potato” Shuttle Pick-Up Times
5:00 am-6:30 am (Buses do fill up, so don’t wait for the last bus)
Catch the shuttle at Albertsons Headquarters at 250 E Parkcenter Blvd. Boise.
You must have a Bib Number to ride the bus to the starting line.
Park near the finish line, and we’ll take you to the start of the race! Buses will pick up at the Finish line, Albertsons HQ on Parkcenter Blvd. Parking is limited at the starting line for the full and half marathons. Be aware the road into the full and half Marathon closes starting at 6:45 am to all traffic other than buses. Please be respectful of our bus drivers and other participants. *No Transportation will be available back to the start area at Lucky Peak.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Boise-Parkcenter. Located just a few blocks from the marathon and half marathon shuttle bus pick-up and the event’s finish line.
